Christmas fire damages Pittsfield home

A Christmas evening fire in Pittsfield has left a family of five without a home.
It happened around 4:30 p.m. Sunday on East Mill Street.
Crews on the scene say they saw fire venting from the windows of the building.
The fire was contained to the kitchen but other parts of the home sustained smoke damage.
