Cobleskill man accused of armed robbery

State Police have arrested a Cobleskill man in connection with a robbery last year.

Malaki D. White, 23, is accused of working with two other men to forcibly rob the victim while they were in the person’s vehicle. Police said a handgun was used during the incident to threaten, strike and injure the victim.

White and the other two suspects allegedly stole multiple items from the victim and from the vehicle.

White was charged with five counts of robbery as well as two counts of grand larceny, assault, criminal possession of a weapon and petit larceny.

He was arraigned in Brunswick Town Court and sent without bail to Rensselaer County Jail.

Police have identified the other suspects and more arrests are anticipated.
