A Cohoes bridge will be closed for repairs next week.

Ontario Street will be closed from River Street to Kosciusko Avenue for emergency repairs late next week.

Cohoes Mayor Bill Keeler said a support joint on the edge of the bridge came apart. The bridge was temporarily closed earlier Friday but has been reopened.

This fix is temporary and permanent repairs will happen on Wednesday when the piece will be replaced, Keeler said.
