A Cohoes man is expected to spend 2 years in prison after admitting to sexually assaulting a Skidmore College student earlier this year.

Kevin D. Johnson, 38, pleaded guilty on Monday to first-degree sexual abuse, according to the Saratoga Springs Police Department.

Police said Johnson assaulted the student in a vehicle in downtown Saratoga Springs on April 29.

He will be sentenced in January 2024. He also will be required to serve 10 years of post-release supervision and be required to register as a sex offender for at least 20 years.
