Cohoes man sentenced to 2 years in prison for sexual assaulting college student

A Cohoes man was sentenced on Thursday to 2 years in state prison for sexually assaulting a Skidmore College student in April.

Kevin D. Johnson, 38, had pleaded guilty in Saratoga County Court in October to a felony count of first-degree sexual abuse.

Johnson assaulted the student in a vehicle in downtown Saratoga Springs, police said.  

He also will be required to serve 10 years of post-release supervision.
