Cohoes schools hold annual MEN-tor walk

Fathers and male role models in Cohoes were encouraged to walk with their kids on Friday morning.

Harmony Hill and Abram Lansing Elementary Schools held their annual Men-Tor Walk.

Dozens of male mentors, from dads to grandfathers to older brothers and uncles, turned out for the annual event.
It all started six years ago to encourage more dads and dad-figures to be involved in their children’s lives.

Next Thursday – September 22nd – is national “Dads Take Your Child to School Day.”
