Cohoes woman accused of forging COVID vaccine card

A woman from Cohoes is facing charges, after an investigation into fake COVID vaccine cards.
Krystal Barton, 36, was arrested Tuesday and charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument.
Police say she gave the fake card to a healthcare facility in Albany to meet employment requirements.
State police say they got a tip from the Department of Health about forged vaccine record cards being distributed on Facebook.
