Colonie Center gives out $20,000 to Capital Region schools
Colonie Center gave out nearly $20,000 to local schools on Sunday.
The local School Bucks Campaign aims to help fund schools’ PTO activities.
The first-place winner was Blessed Sacrament, the second was St. Pius X and the third was Albany School of Humanities. They gave out money to eight local schools in total.
Money has previously gone to help improve a school playground, field trips, school supplies or school parties.
