Columbia County man jailed for burglary and assault
A Columbia County man is behind bars right now, accused of both burglary and assault.

The Columbia County Sheriff tells us Dudley Box from Greenport assaulted an elderly man he worked for.
That man is in the hospital with minor injuries.
Before the assault, the sheriff says he forced his way into an apartment at the Joslen Commons and took something.
He is set to answer to a long list of charges in court on Thursday.
