Men’s Basketball Head Coach Joe Burke was in the gym on campus, when his family’s world was turned upside down, and their memories burned away.

Burke’s wife, Victoria, had just gotten home on Sunday afternoon. Their oldest daughter, Elena, was also home with the Burke’s two dogs.

A loud bang led them to the breaker box in the basement and then the discovery of fast-moving flames on the first floor.

Luckily, everyone’s OK. However, the family – which includes four kids and two dogs – is left to pick up the pieces.
