It’s been more than two weeks since a massive fire destroyed the old Doane Stuart School in Albany.
March 23rd just before 6:30 PM, people miles away witnessed the campus go up in a blaze.
Albany’s fire chief says it took his crews more than four hours to bring the fire under control.

Now in an effort to save what’s left, Bill Brandow, a graduate of the school has started a petition advocating for it’s preservation. With the petition circulating online Preserve Kenwood hopes to show elected officials and those who will ultimately make the final decision that people care about the buildings.
