Construction to alter Northway travel
The exit 6 ramp on the Northway is shut down this weekend.

The state department of transportation is working on a new construction project to make it safer for drivers on the connection to Troy Schenectady Road.
The ramp shut down at 10 p.m. last night and the DOT says it will stay closed until 6 a.m. on Monday morning.
The exit 17 off-ramp on the Northway is also shut down this weekend.
The dot is working on a construction project there as well.
Crews are completing a bridge replacement.
The on ramp from northbound U.S. route 9 to the northbound Northway will also be closed until six a.m. Monday morning.
