Costly parking confusion angers towed Troy motorists
A parking dilemma in Troy is now costing people hundreds of dollars there. People are parking in the area where the Uncle Sam Parking Garage used to be, and coming back to find their cars are towed, at a cost of $350.
A parking dilemma in Troy is now costing people hundreds of dollars there. People are parking in the area where the Uncle Sam Parking Garage used to be, and coming back to find their cars are towed, at a cost of $350.
Right now, the only people allowed to park there are associated with the filming of HBO’s “The Gilded Age,” who have a special parking permit.
Some of the people were visiting the Troy Farmers Market. They insist they didn’t see any signs telling them they couldn’t park on the private lot.
The property owner insists the signs were up and visible.
