Coxsackie man to get 8 years for child sexual assault
A Coxsackie man is expected to be sentenced to 8 years in prison for sexually assaulting child under the age of 11.
David Rollins, 59, had assaulted the child for several years, according to police. It was only reported on Dec. 22, 2022, and Rollins was arrested three days later.
Rollins pleaded guilty on April 9 to course of sexual conduct against a child. He will be sentenced in May. Rollins is also set to receive 20 years of post-release supervision and an order of protection banning him from having contact with the victim.
