Culinary arts students in Troy host special meal for veterans
A group of 100 local veterans were treated to a turkey dinner with all the trimmings, and dessert in Troy on Thursday. It was all thanks to students at the Robert H. Gibson Technical School.
Culinary students at Questar III BOCES in Troy treated local vets to a turkey dinner with all the fixings, and dessert.
The students and culinary arts staff present the luncheon each year as a thank you for their service to our nation.
Nearly 100 local veterans, including Rensselaer County Executive Steve McLaughlin, enjoyed the meal and the company of other veterans.
