Cystic Fibrosis Foundation held fundraiser in Albany

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation held a fundraiser in Albany on Saturday.

In Albany, people climbed all 809 steps of the Corning Tower for a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation fundraiser.


The event was organized by the Northeast Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.


This is a fundraiser to help improve the quality of life of patients and help to find a cure for the genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs.


There are close to 40,000 children and adults living with cystic fibrosis in the United States.
