Everyone needs to set their clocks back one hour this weekend.
This practice was first introduced more than 100 years ago, but the future of Daylight Saving Time is far from settled.
Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara and Sen. Joe Griffo have introduced legislation that establishes Daylight Saving Time as the year-round standard time of the state and New York City.
That change would depend on whether or not neighboring states – and the federal government – agree.
