Dead ducks found in The Crossings Park of Colonie

The walking paths and the waterfront in The Crossings Park have been shut down.
Staff in the park say they noticed dead and sick waterfowl by the pond.
The town of Colonie animal control officer has recovered the birds and sent them for testing.
Those paths and the waterfront will be shut down until further notice as a precaution.
