Deadline to enroll in January 2023 state health insurance is Thursday

The deadline is Thursday if you want to start the new year covered by New York State of Health.
The agency urges anyone to act now, if they want coverage in a qualified health plan to be effective by January 1.
If you miss the deadline, you have until January 15 to enroll in coverage that would be effective February 1.
