Two hearings on the Saratoga Biochar Solutions project will be held this week.

The company proposes to construct and operate a facility to turn biosolids and wood waste feedstock into carbon fertilizer. It has applied for permits with the state Department of Environmental Conservation.

The virtual hearing will take place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
