8 people were saved by forest rangers after they were stranded during flash flooding last week.
We got pictures Tuesday showing fawn’s leap along Kaaterskill Falls in Greene County.
This is from one of three rescues during heavy rain last week.
Rangers with the Department of Environmental Conservation rushed to help swimmers, stuck near fast moving water.
They were cold and shivering.
Rangers pulled them to safety.
They also helped five others using an inflatable boat.
One ranger described facing fear in times of high stress.

No one was injured and all the rescues were complete before night-fall.
