New York classifies flu cases as widespread

The New York Department of Health has categorized flu cases as widespread across the state.

DOH reports that cases are up more than 25% from the previous week. Hospitalizations are also up 30%.

This is National Flu Vaccination Week.

The CDC is reminding everyone 6 months and older to get vaccinated.
