April Ballentine is learning to walk again after being paralyzed in 2013 after her ex-boyfriend shot her 5 times.

Since that awful day she’s been determined to stay strong, proving life can continue after a spinal cord injury resulting from domestic violence.

She’s also motivated by a specific goal – walking her daughter down the aisle.

The big day is set for November 12th.

April wants to show that if you have the will and the strength you can do anything.
