Nurse shortages began years ago, but the nurses tell NewsChannel 13 this is the worst shortage they’ve seen. They say some patients have no place to go.
Columbia Memorial Hospital released a statement on Facebook stating that they are sympathetic to their workers asking for more pay and better staffing. However, the nurse shortage is a national crisis and is not limited to this hospital.
