Police say they caught two people in the act of burglarizing a former school in Columbia County.

It happened at the former Roe Jan School on Route 22 in the town of Copake Monday evening.
A lieutenant on patrol saw a car parked along the side of the building, backed up to a broken window.
Salvatore and Audro Daniele were found with stolen copper piping and wiring, the sheriff said.
They are both facing burglary charges.
