There will be no change in who will be coaching the men’s basketball team, UAlbany said to NewsChannel 13.

Head Coach Dwayne Killings pleaded not guilty earlier this week in Kentucky, to an assault charge in a Kentucky courtroom.

The misdemeanor charge comes from an incident in 2021. A former player says Killings threw him against a locker and hit him before a game at Eastern Kentucky.

Killings is scheduled to be back in court on March 20 – presumably after the Great Danes season.
UAlbany’s next game is Wednesday night at New Hampshire.
