Electrical wiring blamed in weekend Pittsfield fire

The cause of a weekend fire in Pittsfield is faulty electrical wiring, NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Berkshire Eagle report.

The fire broke out Sunday morning inside a house on Linden Street.

The fire started in the ceiling between the second and third floors.

No one was inside the home, said the Pittsfield Fire Department.

One firefighter suffered a facial injury and is doing okay.
