Empire State Plaza fireworks set to launch after one-day delay

The Empire State Plaza was going for round 2 of fireworks after a quick-hitting rounds of torrential storms caused organizers to cancel them on the actual Fourth of July holiday, shortly before launch.
In fact, there was a huge turn out Tuesday, with people expecting to see those fireworks at dusk.
The spirit wasn’t entirely lost though. Before the fireworks were cancelled, there was live music, and lots of food.
The postponed show was expected to begin around 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
