Event held to support Lola Saratoga
Community event helps support Lola Saratoga after robbery
The community on Thursday rallied around the Saratoga Springs business that was hit by a smash-and-grab robbery earlier this month.
An event was held at Lola Saratoga, where more than $100,000 worth of merchandise was stolen from the store. There was music and drinks, and customers had a chance to win a prize with each purchase.
Amanda Pierce, owner of Makeup and Skin, told NewsChannel 13 that when she found out about the robbery, she wanted to step in and help her friend. So, she partnered with more than 35 local businesses to donate gift cards, gift baskets and services.
