Fallen Air Force staff sergeant honored in Pittsfield

U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant Jacob “Jake” Galliher was honored by many who were marching in Pittsfield’s Memorial Day ceremony.
They wore powder blue t-shirts with his last name.
The annual march started on Fenn Street and marched to the Pittsfield Cemetery.
Galliher, 24, died during a training exercise last November off the coast of Japan.
He was on the V-22 Osprey which carried him and seven other crew members.
He is survived by his wife, Ivy, and two sons.
