The Albany Police Department hosted police officers and families from across the state for the 37th annual memorial Mass for deceased members of the law enforcement community.

The mass honored 68 law enforcement officers that lost their lives in the line of duty.

The names of those 65 men and three women have been added to the New York State Police Officers Memorial at the Empire State Plaza in Albany.

State landmarks were being illuminated in blue Tuesday night in their honor.

Gov. Kathy Hochul also spoke at the event.
