A student is receiving care at the hospital after a tree branch fell and injured the student at school.

The Montessori Magnet School in Albany sent notice saying a large branch fell and hit the student shortly after dismissal on Friday afternoon.

Many students saw this happen.

The student was treated on the scene, and was taken to the hospital, the school said.
