One person killed in Niskayuna crash

One person was killed in a crash on Friday morning

The crash happened around 6:36 a.m., Niskayuna police said.

Authorities say they responded to the area of Balltown Road and Schwaber Drive for a report of a car that crashed into a field.

The operator, the only person inside the car, was taken to Ellis Hospital and died there, said police.

Niskayuna PD and the Schenectady County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the crash.
