Fatal crash under investigation in Canaan

A car crash led to multiple fatalities Thursday night in Canaan, according to 511NY.

The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. on NYS Route 295 between Stony Kill Rd and Upper Queechy Rd.

Rt. 295 was closed in both directions for multiple hours.

511NY also reports there was a downed powerline.

The crash is under investigation.
