Final preps underway for big Empire State Plaza fireworks show

One of the biggest fireworks shows in the Capital Region is at the Empire State Plaza in Albany.

The big show starts at 9:15 Tuesday evening. It is presented by Price Chopper-Market 32.

“It truly is a wonderful tradition that we have here in the Capital Region,” said Mona Golub, with Price Chopper-Market 32. “To be able to come down to this glorious and majestic Empire State Plaza, and enjoy the biggest and best fireworks show of the year, it’s all wonderful with great food, and family and wonderful music.”

This is the 46th year for the event.
