A Pittsfield fire is under investigation.

The fire broke out around 8 p.m. Thursday in a building on Keeler Street.

Fire officials could see flames from the first floor windows of the complex, they said, which houses different businesses.

The fire started in an auto body shop and motor vehicle storage space.

Around 15 vehicles and some boats were fully engulfed in flames.

Fire crews worked to contain the fire to avoid it extending to the adjacent pool supply business – which holds chemicals and oxidizers.

The fire was knocked down in three hours.

No injuries were reported.
