Fire destroys Cossayuna home

A house is a total loss after a Wednesday morning fire in Cossayuna.
The fire broke out at 304 Kilburn Road, the fire chief said.
Flames came through the roof and front door of the double-wide trailer.
The fire was under control within an hour, but fire crews remained on scene for another three hours.
The homeowner tried to put out the fire himself, said the fire chief, but was unable to.
