Fire gutted a home in Adams.

The fire broke out at 41 E. Jordan St., late Wednesday morning.

A father and three kids were home at the time of the fire, the fire chief told NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Berkshire Eagle.

The dad had minor burns and was taken to the hospital, the fire chief said.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office is working to learn what caused the fire. However, they don’t think it’s suspicious, the Eagle reported.
