Firefighters: Latham apartment fire not suspicious

A fire that heavily damaged a Latham apartment building on Monday is not considered suspicious, investigators said.

The fire broke out at Latham Village Apartments off Troy-Schenectady Road around 1:30 Monday afternoon.

Crews were on the scene within two minutes, and we’re told multiple departments were called in to help put the flames out.

No one was seriously hurt.
