FIRST ON 13: Police: Is Menands murder related to killing of PA police officer?
State Police investigators want your help as they try to learn more about a person who may know something about the murder of a man on the bike path in Menands last April.
State Police are sharing photos of a man from the Baltimore-area who they believe could tell them something about the killing of Daniel Frament of Troy on the Mohawk Hudson Bike Hike Trail on April 18.
Anthony Quesen is charged with the October murder of an off-duty law enforcement officer on the Montour Trail in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, in a case that New York State Police say has some similarities to the murder of Frament.
The photos appear similar to the description of a person seen leaving the scene of the murder in Menands, State Police said.
Police are sharing them because they want to know if anyone saw Quesen in this area at around the time of the Frament murder. Police say Quesen, who is 25 years old and also goes by the alias, Antonia Kaseim, has been known to be transient and travel to multiple states.
Frament, who was 76, a retired attorney and avid walker, was found with severe head trauma. His murder shocked friends who knew him as a very kind man. If you recognize Quesen or have knowledge of him being in the Albany area in April, please contact the New York State Police.
State Police point out that Quesen is only a person of interest and there is no direct evidence linking him to the murder of Daniel Frament.
