Five people are under arrest, facing charges for possessing stolen cars in the city of Albany.

The Albany County Sheriff’s Office says deputies saw a gray Chevrolet Impala on First Street in Albany, which was reported stolen minutes earlier.

They say when they attempted to stop the vehicle, two adults and three juveniles ran from deputies.

Eventually, all five people were caught and taken into custody. They’re all facing charges for criminal possession of stolen property.

The driver, 18-year-old Raykuan Berrios, and one of the passengers, 19-year-old Jahmeek Johnson, are also facing additional charges.

The other three suspects aren’t being identified because of their age.
