Florida man pleads guilty to fraud and identity theft, as part of felony lane gang scheme
A Florida man pleads guilty in the nationwide scam, that struck right here in the Capital Region.
Cedric Lynch pled guilty Friday to federal charges of conspiracy to commit bank fraud and aggravated identity theft.
Lynch admitted that he was involved in a fraud scheme known as “felony lane gang” between 2015 and 2020.
Lynch and his co-conspirators – one of whom was from Schenectady – traveled across the country breaking into cars, stealing items used in identity theft.
