Footprints in snow help police find Albany burglary suspect

An Albany man broke into a store and took a cash register, said police. Footprints in the snow helped find him.

It happened around 3:20 Sunday morning in the area of 149 Second Ave.

A man who saw the burglary told police the suspect also tried to stab him.

Henry Villalongo, 46, was found near Krank Street and Seymore Avenue with a pocket knife, a flashlight, and a screwdriver, police said.

He faces several charges, including burglary and robbery and was sent to Albany County Jail.
