An Amsterdam business is being investigated on allegations of fraud.

Amsterdam Police got three complaints about the Amsterdam Overhead Door Company at 403 West Main St., investigators said.

This all started in December.

The company took someone’s deposit without doing any work. The company then went out of business, police said.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have lost money to that company, to give them a call at 518-842-1100 ext. 121.
