Former Hochul aide due in court on DWI charge

A state agency spokesperson and former top aide to Gov. Kathy Hochul was expected in court on Monday.
Haley Viccaro was charged with aggravated DWI, after she allegedly crashed her car into a utility pole and fire hydrant near the intersection of Albany Shaker and Osbourne roads, last month, police said.
Viccaro is currently a spokesperson for the state Department of Environmental Conservation.
