More than 9,000 flags are spread across the lawn at Fort William Henry in Lake George.

Each flag represents someone who has served in the Armed Forces.​

There are several plaques with veteran’s names listed.

The public is invited to a ceremony Saturday morning at 10:30 to honor those who served.

That ceremony is accompanied by a 21-gun salute.
