Four teens face weapons, trespassing charges
Four teenagers face weapons and trespassing charges in Albany.
Officers responded to the 100 block of Lark Drive near Manning Boulevard just before 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10 for reports of juveniles inside a maintenance building. Police arrested the four youths.
A 16-year-old male and a 17-year-old male both were in possession of loaded 9mm handguns, one of which was a ghost gun, police said.
They are facing weapons and trespassing charges. The 16-year-old was arraigned in Albany County Family Court and placed on home confinement. The 17-year-old was sent to the Capital District Juvenile Secure Detention Facility.
In addition a 13-year-old, whose name was not released because of his age, was given an appearance ticket on a trespassing charge and released to a guardian.
Haleen Farehm, 19, was also charged with trespassing. He was arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court and released to the supervision of probation.
