Free fishing weekend set for June 24, 25
The governor has announced a free fishing weekend in New York for next weekend.

June 24 and 25 will no longer require a freshwater fishing license for people to enjoy fishing.
This will be this year’s second free fishing weekend.
The governor says fishing is considered one of the most therapeutic outdoor activities.
She said this free fishing weekend will give people an opportunity to get out and enjoy the outdoors.
