Free naloxone training being offered in efforts to prevent drug overdoses

Schenectady County leaders are looking to crack down on drug overdoses in their communities.
The county is holding a free naloxone training this week.

The session will be held on Wednesday, September 6.
It’s from 6 to 7 p.m., at the Karen B. Johnson library on Clinton Street in Schenectady.
This comes as overdose deaths are on the rise in the city.
The session will also be available online.
