Free Uber, CDTA rides being offered for New Year’s Eve

One Schenectady organization is on a mission to pass a new law that the group's president says would keep everyone safer on the roads.

If you’re planning on going out and drinking to celebrate the new year, make sure you have a plan to safely get home.

Harding Mazzotti law firm is offering 1,000 Uber vouchers worth $20 each.

They are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and can be used from noon Sunday until 2 a.m. Monday morning.
You can visit the Harding Mazzotti social media page to find one.

You can also get home for free through CDTA. They will once again offer free rides from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. to assist with Stop DWI efforts.

The CDTA sales window will be closed Monday and Tuesday.
